The Office may provide an allowance for support of employment of disadvantaged job seeker to the employer, who for a created job engages a disadvantaged job seeker registered in the job seeker register for minimum three months. The labor relation with the employee engaged for the created job shall be agreed for minimum one half of the determined weekly work hours of the employer, if the labor relation is agreed for less work hours, the allowance is reduced accordingly. The allowance is provided for compensation of the total work price part of an employee. It is not provided for disadvantaged job seeker, for the employment of whom was provided an allowance for the same period to:
- Support the development of local and regional employment,
- Maintain the job of a person with health handicap
- Compensate the operational costs of sheltered workshop or sheltered workstation and to compensate the cost of employees transport.
Monthly allowance amount is
- In Bratislava region monthly 25 % z of the total work price of an employee, maximum 25 % z of the total work price (sum of average salary of an employee in the economy of the Slovak Republic for the relevant period and settlement of insurance premium advance money for health insurance, insurance premium for social insurance and contribution for retirement pension savings, paid by the employer) calculated from the average salary of an employee in the economy of the Slovak Republic for the first up to third quarter of the calendar year preceding the calendar year, in which the allowance is provided. In 2014 it is maximum 271,41 EUR.
- in counties with registered average unemployment rate lower than or equal to the all-Slovakian average of 30 % z of the total work price of an employee, maximum 30 % of the total work price calculated from the average salary of an employee in the economy of the Slovak Republic for the first up to third quarter of the calendar year preceding the calendar year, in which the allowance is provided. In 2014 it is maximum 325,69 EUR in these counties,
- in counties with average registered unemployment rate higher than the all-Slovakian average of 40 % z of the total work price of an employee, maximum 40 % of the total work price calculated from the average salary of an employee in the economy of the Slovak Republic for the first up to third quarter of the calendar year preceding the calendar year, in which the allowance is provided. In 2014 it is maximum 434,25 EUR in these counties.
The allowance is provided pursuant to a written agreement related to allowance provision concluded between the Office and the employer for maximum 12 calendar months and to a disadvantaged job seeker registered in the job seeker register for minimum 24 months, the allowance is provided for maximum 24 calendar months.
The employer is obliged to maintain the created job, to which the allowance was provided, for minimum one half of agreed period of allowance provision. If the employer fails to follow this obligation, then the employer is obliged to re-pay the aliquot part of allowance provided corresponding with the period, during which the employer failed to maintain the job.
The allowance is provided to the employer by the Office, in the territory of which the employer creates a job. The employer shall not assign an employee, for the job of whom the Office provides the allowance, to any work at any user’s employer.
